• The company's Health Plan received a runner-up prize in the 5^th edition of these awards.

June 9^th, 2020 - Abengoa (MCE: ABG/P:SM), the international company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the infrastructure, energy and water sectors, has been awarded, thanks to its Health Plan, in the 5^th edition of the Innovation and Healthcare Awards of the insurance company Mutua Universal.

Abengoa's candidacy, which was competing with another 10 large companies in the Large Account category, was recognized with a runner-up prize thanks to its Health Plan, which is based on six key points: awareness, improvements in health monitoring, sustainable mobility, healthy eating, promotion of sport and a healthy environment.

The objective of these awards is "to recognize the innovation for the benefit of people and to distinguish the work of those companies committed to promoting health through their projects in this area. These must represent innovative solutions that generate improvements in the quality of life and health of the company's workers”.

In previous editions, Mutua Universal announced the winners at the awards ceremony. However, due to the current health crisis, this event will not take place in person, applying the COVID-19 protocol for the prevention of its spread.
