August, 8 – Abengoa (MCE: ABG/P:SM), the international company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the infrastructures, energy and water sectors, has been selected by the company AESA to carry out the works of the expansion of the 132 kV substation of the Villa María thermal power plant, owned by the electricity generation company MSU Energy, located in the province of Córdoba (Argentina), in the central region of the country.
Abengoa will be responsible for labour provision, partial materials and all the equipment necessary for the expansion, with the construction of a substation bay, including civil works, assembly of equipment, connection, assistance for commissioning and commissioning.
This new contract strengthens the market’s trust in Abengoa and reinforces the company’s leading position in the electrical infrastructures market. Abengoa has been present in Argentina for 50 years and has undertaken major projects in all of the sectors in which it operates, primarily in the area of power transmission and distribution.
