Telvent Executives to Provide Industry Perspective at the 2010 ICT and Sustainability Forum

May 11, 2010 – Telvent (NASDAQ: TLVT), the IT company for a sustainable and secure world, will participate and sponsor the third ICT and Sustainability Forum, titled “Granada Strategy: The key factor for a sustainable economy”. The event will be held May 20 and 21 at the Barceló Renacimiento Business Center in Seville, Spain. This will be the third consecutive year Telvent has sponsored and participated in the event.

The event will feature, national and international experts discussing the IT industry’s role in the creation of a new global production model. Telvent Chairman and CEO, Manuel Sanchez, will serve as a keynote speaker during the event, illustrating the contribution of IT solutions to increase the efficiency and productivity of global food production.

The third ICT and Sustainability Forum is being organized by the Spanish Association of Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications Companies and the Innovation, Science and Enterprise Department of the Regional Government of Andalusia. The forum will address the pillars of a new knowledge- and information-based society, in which ICTs are established as an essential tool for energy efficiency and the reduction of GHG emissions.
