Sevilla, 11 of November 2009. - Teyma, company belonging to Abengoa, has joined the U.S. market by creating a subsidiary, Teyma USA Inc., which was formally established last August. Among its strategic objectives is a joint venture with Abencs, the North American subsidiary of Abener, for Abengoa renewable energy projects in the U.S. At the same time, it will provide third parties with its turnkey industrial construction and engineering project services, especially in the field of solar renewable, biomass, and generation, and civil, electrical, and hydraulic infrastructure, as well as architecture and urban services.
Teyma USA Inc. is part of Teyma, a company formed by Teyma Construcción, Teyma Medioambiente, Teyma Forestal, Teyma USA, and Teyma Internacional (www.teyma.com.uy).
With this new initiative, Teyma has positioned itself as an international industrial construction and engineering company, leader in the application of innovative technologies for sustainable development and in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
