Madrid, September 5, 2007- Telvent GIT S.A. (Nasdaq: TLVT), the IT company for a sustainable and secure world, announced today the awarding by AIE (Agrupación de Interés Económico) of the development project for a secure and centralized access center for citizens and internal customers, through the Internet, to Seville City Corporation’s services, as well as the installation and management of all the Hispalnet-associated infrastructure, applications and services. The AIE -DeSevilla, formed by Seville City Corporation and the main public companies (Emasesa, Emvisesa, Lipasam, Tussam and others)- project value is more than 2 million euro.

The network – Hispalnet – serves as the backbone for providing the services that the public companies and the Corporation itself decide to offer the public, direct users from public bodies and visitors, such as access to data networks or services.

The start-up of the project requires the implementation of flexible, reliable and high-availability technological solutions that allow management of the high value-added services demanded by Hispalnet, such as connectivity to the Internet and to external networks for secure access to the services provided by these entities. In addition, Telvent will implement other services such as the network telematic security system, e-mail for the public bodies and centralized access to the Internet for the entire Corporation.

In parallel, the model presented by Telvent allows the public body to respond to the citizens’ needs with high levels of security and availability. Furthermore, the project will result in centralized management of the systems and includes the housing, in Telvent’s data center in Seville, of all the elements for network control and management which, in turn, allows operation and infrastructure costs to be reduced.
