Madrid, April 11, 2006 — Telvent GIT S.A. (Nasdaq: TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, announced today that it has signed a 3.5 million euro contract with PEMEX, the Mexican energy company, to provide an automation system for the injection wells at a nitrogen supply facility in the city of Samaria, located in the state of Tabasco, Mexico.

Telvent will supply its real-time data acquisition and control system (SCADA, Oasys DNA) for the control center that will manage the automation needed to securely and efficiently operate the gas metering system of PEMEX´s plant (eight for nitrogen at the facility outlet and one for natural gas at the facility inlet).

According to Manuel Sanchez Ortega, Telvent’s chairman and chief executive officer, “Mexico is an important growth market for Telvent, currently representing approximately 50% of our Latin American business and 10% of our worldwide revenues. This contract further deepens our relationship with PEMEX. Our technology will allow them to ensure the reliability of the natural gas and nitrogen supply process at all times and will also enable real-time knowledge of any incident while meeting all international quality standards.”
