Madrid, November 24, 2005.- Instalaciones Inabensa, a subsidiary of Abeinsa, head of Abengoa’s Industrial Engineering and Construction Business Group, jointly with Siemens and Guinovart has been awarded maintenance of overhead contact line of Madrid-Lleida Track in Madrid – Zaragoza – Barcelona – French Frontier High Speed Line, that develop Railway Infrastructure Public Manager.

This project, that will begin in 2006, include the maintenance of overhead contact line and associate systems is made on 460 Kilometers of double-track section. The maintenances will be preventive, corrective and predictive and will be finished in 2009. These will be performed among Birhuega, Calatayud and Montagut bases and Zaragoza, Lleida subbases.

According to Alfonso González, president of Abeinsa, "this awarding turn to Abeinsa in one of the main leaders of the national railway market of high speed".

This awarded include the maintenance of 25 kV a.c. catenary High Speed Line (double-track section and secondary railroads of stations) an the maintenance of tunnel lighting installation. Also the maintenance of section switches, grounding, shades of over crossing, feedback systems, transformers and auto valves. The project include as well the maintenance of transformers and installations for cellular telephony sytems and the maintenance of switch heater systems.
