Madrid, November 15, 2005 – Telvent GIT S.A. (NASDAQ: TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, today announced it has signed a 0.8 million euro contract with the Chinese company, Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Ltd. (“Guangdong Dapeng”). The contract involves provision of technological solutions for the "Liquefied Natural Gas Project" that is part of China´s energy sector restructuring.

With the goal of using clean energy sources, this project involves increased utilization of liquefied natural gas by the energy sector. Expected to be completed and operational by 2006, the project will supply 5.1 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas to the Pearl River Delta area, one of the most rapidly developing areas in the country, and Hong Kong.

Telvent will provide its Gas Measurement & Accounting System (GMAS) for measurement collection, aggregation, validation and processing capabilities of the gas, along with the “Gas Day Operations” (GDO) and the Pipeline Operations Logistics and Revenue Information System (POLARIS) business applications. Planning personnel will be able to generate, monitor and revise predicted load for current and future gas days using Telvent’s GDO application. POLARIS Gas will be used to integrate contracts, nominations, scheduling, volumetric and revenue accounting, thereby minimizing manual data entry and adding accurate, near real-time responses to reporting processes.

Telvent’s 2004 contract portfolio included a significant 48 million euro of China-based business. Among Telvent’s other significant projects in China are the installation of a Control Centre for the Zhongxian-Wuhan gas pipeline, and the infrastructure upgrades for the following three projects: the Tie-Da Oil oil pipeline SCADA system, the Lu- Wan Product Oil Pipeline SCADA System, and the gas pipeline SCADA system for the city of Chongqing.
