Madrid, November 4, 2005 –Telvent GIT S.A. (NASDAQ: TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, today announced it had been awarded a four-and-a-half million euro contract to supply and install automatic ticket machines on the line extensions to the Metro de Madrid network. Telvent also signed a one-and-a-half million euro contract with the Biscay Transport Consortium to supply and install the ticketing system in the new Abatxolo and Portugalete stations on the Metro de Bilbao network.

The Metro de Madrid contract comprises 89 transportation ticket vending machines and 23 “credit only payment” vending machines. For Metro de Bilbao, Telvent will supply the station equipment including eight automatic ticket vending machines, two sales-desks, 28 station access control points and two control systems.

According to Telvent’s chairman and chief executive officer, Manuel Sanchez Ortega, “The awarding of these contracts demonstrates Metro de Bilbao and Metro de Madrid’s trust in, and satisfaction with, the work already done for them by Telvent. We are also pleased that Telvent can contribute to the needs of Bilbao and Madrid through the promotion of public transport systems in both cities.”

The new Bilbao network stations will be inaugurated in 2006 and are part of the city’s “Line 2” expansion plan. The line expansion will continue until it reaches Kabieces in 2011. The entire system utilizes Telvent’s “Mobifast” technological platform which utilizes the most advanced ticketing system technology.

Telvent has implemented other projects for the Biscay Transport Consortium and Metro de Bilbao, including Line 1 and Line 2 ticket vending systems, central control center, implementation of the Creditrans single ticket, “Barik” contact-free card system and the maintenance of Toll equipment.
