Madrid, August 26, 2005 – Telvent GIT S.A. (NASDAQ: TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico, to upgrade the control and acquisition information system (SCADA system) used at the city’s water treatment plant. The total value of the contract is approximately USD 1.3 million.

As part of a new water treatment plant being built in Albuquerque, Telvent will upgrade the city’s existing water treatment system (Telvent’s OASyS 6.2) to an OASyS DNA (Dynamic Network of Applications) control and information management system, and install a Wide Area Network access sub-system within the new plant so that both plant and distribution control are exercised through the Telvent system.
