Madrid, July 15, 2005 – Telvent (NASDAQ TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, has signed a contract with Pimec – Pequeña y Mediana Empresa de Cataluña -, the organization that represents the micro, small and medium-sized companies of Catalonia, to develop managed communications services for its technological systems. In addition, Telvent will house its technological platform in the Barcelona Data Center; one of five Data Centers Telvent has on the Iberian Peninsula.

In this project, Telvent will provide remote monitoring services for systems and, at the same time, an immediate customer attention service for any possible incidents that might arise. Moreover, Telvent guarantees availability of the information systems twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, and will make remote security copies that enable immediate recovery of all information in the event of any contingence occurring in the Local Authority’s data protection center, which will be housed in Telvent’s facilities.
