Abengoa is constructing this 275,000 m³/d desalination plant in Morocco which will be the largest plant designed for the combined use of drinking water and irrigation. Recognized by the International Desalination Association with the “Best Public-Private Partnership” award, the project includes the construction of the corresponding irrigation network that will cover a total of 15,000 ha.
