In railway sector, Abengoa is a global benchmark in works related to catenary, substations, communications and ancillary installations, with more than 4,500 km of railway lines electrification and 80 traction power substations built.
Abengoa has developed its own catenary technology, CAVE homologated for high speed up to 350 km/h, and TkMx for conventional lines up to 160 km/h.
Abengoa has a large machinery fleet adaptable to any track gauge: conventional and international (UIC).
