Since June 2008, Abengoa requests that its providers, including those of raw material inputs, sign up to this code as a way of promoting observance of and compliance with social and environmental regulations. The code encompasses all of the company’s production processes and ensures a higher degree of transparency in the company’s own operations and those of interested parties, upholding a commitment to establishing mutually beneficial supplier relations.
