At the beginning of March, Instalaciones Inabensa, S.A. was awarded the contract for the Renovation and Adaptation to Regulation of the Central Plant of Installations for the Old Military Hospital Vigil de Quiñones of Seville in a tender called by the Servicio Andaluz de la Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian Health Service of the Andalusia Government). This is part of the actions planned for the complete remodeling of the hospital.
Inabensa will execute the works in joint venture with Tecysu, company whose head office is in Alcalá de Guadaira, specialized in industrial installations. The amount exceeds 8 million euros and the execution period is 15 months.
Works will consist of complete remodeling of the Central Plant of Installations of the Hospital. This is an industrial building that exists at the hospital complex, but its aged installations make necessary a complete renovation in order to adapt them to the current regulation.
The Central Plant, when remodeling the different technical rooms, will be equipped with new equipment and installations of thermal, electrical production and drinkable water supply, warm hospital water and water for fire system. These supplies will be distributed from here, through a subterranean technical gallery, to the subcentral plant located at the hospital building where they will be linked with the internal installations.
At this moment, Inabensa –that belongs to Abeinsa, head of the Industrial Engineering and Construction Business Group of Abengoa- has under execution many projects of singular buildings all around the Spanish geography.
Nowadays, in the hospital sector, we should emphasize some projects like the participation of Inabensa in the construction of the Campus de la Salud Hospital of Granada, also for the Servicio Andaluz de Salud (Andalusian Health Service), and the construction of Tajo Hospital in Aranjuez, under service concession for 30 years, for the Consejería de Sanidad y Consumo (Health & Consumption Department) of Madrid.
