Seville, October 7th, 2004. Instalaciones Inabensa, which belongs to Abeinsa, head of the Business Group of Engineering and Industrial Construction of Abengoa, in joint venture with Agelectric and Crespo Blasco has been awarded by Aena the works included in the electrical system project of NAT of Barcelona airport. The amount of this project is 19.17 million euros.
The project considers the MV electrical installation in order to provide the electric energy to the new terminal. This will allow the correct working of the terminal services.
The works will be placed in the new terminal and the surrounding area. They will mainly consist of the construction of two electric power stations (CEREM and CEN), 25 transformation centers, distributed between dykes and processor area, supervision system installation, procedures and control and the installation over 105,000 m. of MV wire to feed the whole system.
According to Alfonso González, Abeinsa's Chairman "with this work, Inabensa becomes a leading company in the execution of works of airport servicing facilities as well as take off/landing field system installations, inside the aeronautical sector”.
